How does everyone dispose of empty medicine bottles?

Usually I know it’s just trash but I know some pharmacies recycle but I’ve also heard about Warfarin bottles being a P rated material.

So given all that, what’s the best way to dispose of empty medicine bottles?

Yeah, most of us are following corporate policy by putting things in certain bins. Someone else takes it from there. I couldn’t really tell you where they go. For a time CVS treated warfarin and phentermine bottles as hazardous waste, but then they made a new list that didn’t have phentermine on it anymore but did include other random drugs (mostly chemo).
