I have a quick question. I am a non-trad applicant and have been out of school for almost 2 years. I still need to take the organic 1 & 2 LABS since most schools require them. I plan to take these courses in Fall 2013 and Spring 2014, respectively. Since Fall registration won't open before I would like to submit to AMCAS (June 4), how do I show the schools I plan to take these courses? I know the application hasn't opened yet, but I think even if I enter it as a in progress/planned course, it will still say I will need a transcript or enrollment verification, but that won't be available before I submit. How do I make sure the schools don't automatically weed me out because I haven't taken these labs yet?

There is a box to check for current/future course on the AMCAS app!

Do you have to submit anything for that school or do they just take your word for it? I have transcripts from my undergrad and grad school, but I won't have anything to show for the future courses at this new school. I'm not even sure which local college I will take it at yet! Just want to make sure AMCAS doesn't kick it back and delay my application verification!

They take your word for it but when you matriculate at a school they require a final transcript which states that you graduated and completed all your prereq classes

What if you put Biochem in Future Coursework because some of the schools youre applying to require it, but then matriculate to a school that never required it in the first place...would they care if you just didn't take it? lol

They might... you have to call them and ask!
