How to enter IB credits?

Does anyone know how? Not sure what to put since there is no "term" or "course grade", etc...

Also another coursework question, for "Course title" for each course, should I enter the official name of the course, or the abbreviated course name that appears on my transcript?

I would ask PTCAS on their facebook page. I'm putting in the full course title, rather than the abbreviated one on my transcript. I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter either way though. If the course name is too long, then you'll have to abbreviate it anyways.

You have to option to specify that it is an IB/AP course. I imagine that if you do this, PTCAS is smart enough to not require a term or grade? Make sure that if you received IB credit for a prerequisite that you talk to the programs you are applying to. Many do not accept IB credits for prereqs.

PTCAS has a frustratingly low character limit in most fields. I'm not able to enter the entire course title for many classes. I try to abbreviate it in a way that is similar to what it says on the transcript. I also can't enter the entire title of previous jobs, organizations, etc.

I emailed PTCAS about this, and they said that you could either enter the truncated course title, or the full course title, so long as it can be easily understood that it's the same class.

And Watson27... I agree about the low character limit. I've worked at places with some REALLY long names -- I had to get clever shortening the names. Eish.
