I initially decided to retake the DAT but now I am planning not to take the DAT again as I have a 19AA but I already submitted my application saying I am retaking the DAT this month. Can I email and request them to reuse the last years DAT score? How will I cancel my DAT exam, although I want to keep the fees in case I need to take it late. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Did you enter your date of most recent score? Then I believe they send your score to the schools when they process the application. But I guess you should email them to change your status in case there's any confusion.
For refund:

Are refunds available?
Test fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

According to the ADA
(http://www.ada.org/sections/educationAndCareers/pdfs/dat_faq.pdf)

Thanks for the help. But can I save the fees in case I need to take the DAT later say in December (just in case)

May be a complex situation kid. Once you e-submit, certain things get set in stone, I suggest you call immediately and ask see what they can do, they probably will help you this early on. Fees are non-refundable.

Um I think the best you can do is push the test to the last day yuo can possibly do and if you decide to take it again then move it to the day you want. If you don't want to take the test theny ou lose the money

question on this

if you enter you'll be taking the DAT in the future again, will schools disregard your current score and leave your app to the side?

I did alright on my test but I wanted to retake to make up for a low PAT

Just to clarify, I always recommend for students to call to make sure that the "DAT score pending" is removed from their application so that there is no confusion in processing your application with schools!
