I am given 4500 characters to explain my disadvantaged status, I have two questions right now:

1. What types of writing style should I use to write this part? Should I have a theme and use a mixture of objective facts and personal responses to support it (Like a personal statement.)? Or I should just write down all objective facts?

2. Do you guys think I should use all 4500 characters to show my disadvantage? I currently have a personal-statement-like explanation that has only 1700 characters. I know you should use at least majority of the 4500 characters for your personal statement, but I am not sure if it is true for my explanation of disadvantaged status.

Hi, thank you for your reply! Did you write a explanation of disadvantaged status before? Should I make a another personal statement or just a list of facts?

No, and I would not suggest a list of facts. It's a personal statement, not a regurgitation of your resume.

I wrote a disadvantaged applicant essay and I made it super personal and sort of a narrative type of essay. Just explain what you need to explain and be super honest.
