Hello,

Mid-career MD in private practice looking to move. I've never used a headhunter before and need to find one. Any leads would be appreciated.

Head hunters are typically recruiters who are searching for people for specific jobs, not the other way around. But most would probably do all sorts of recruitment work.

There are a number of national recruitment groups such as Merritt Hawkins, Jackson Coker, Barton Associates, etc. but there may be more specialty-specific / region-specific recruiters depending on who you are and where you want to go.
