OK sorry that this might be in the wrong place but I've searched all over the internet and can't find the answer to my question. I need to see a doctor soon and I don't know where else to turn. Does anyone know how I can find a medi-Cal doctor in or around Laguna Beach CA? I signed up for Obamacare last December through the Covered CA website and it said I was covered under medi-cal and they sent me a card. But the website doesn't have any link to my coverage or any list of doctors. I couldn't find anything on the medi-cal website either and google doesn't turn up anything. I called my county office and they couldn't tell me either. Does such a list even exist?? How can I find a doctor?? Please help I am very frustrated

For the record this forum is not made for this kind of subject. Have you called this number Phone Support: 1-800-541-5555? Also, you can just pick a doctor's office you want to go to and ask if they accept Medi-Cal. It's not so hard.

Medi-Cal is California's Medicaid system. You can see any doctor that accepts medicaid. I suggest healthgrades.com to look up different offices and clinics where you can receive medical care. You are able to search for offices and clinics in your area by using you city name or zip code. Once you find a provider in your area look under the appointments and offices tab and you will find a list of accepted insurances. As long as it says Medicaid you are good to go. This is just one that I found while looking: http://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-robert-eller-3y699/appointment

Good luck!

You're going to make a great, passionate, physician one day. rock on bro.

Healthgrades may not show all the doctors, because most Medi-cal doctors don't really want to advertise that they do accept Medi-cal.
If you're Medi-Cal, you should have an insurance card through Anthem or some other private insurance company. If you call the insurer, rather than Medi-Cal directly, you should get a quicker response.
Or like others suggested, you could just call doctors with good reviews and ask directly.

I'm not sure if it's a compliment or something else.

@: Rik1111's comment is satirical in nature. Because you have big muscles. Notice the italics--that's what I used to deduce the author's intent.

😉
All this and more tonight on the latest SDN series, "explaining e-humor to The Buff OP", presented by HeadEast2014

Thanks, bro. I wish I could say/do something back how I usually take care of things when someone disrespects me, but I can't. I have to be a good boy on here, I already receive a warning on here the other day. Thanks to my buddy @Narmerguy (BTW I mean it he is a cool dude)

Edit: I still don't get why someone would think telling a person it's not so hard to find a doctor that accepts Medi-Cal makes me a bad person. Oh yeah, that's gonna make me a bad doctor. Pshhh, you do NOT know me @yanks26dmb and @LizzyM

You received a warning? What are we going to do without your awesome fitness advice? 🙁

I was sad when I saw they were ganging up on you. You're one of my faves on this board.

It's all good. I bet you they wouldn't catch one with me in IRL.

Right after I posted that, I thought "I bet he could literally tear my body into multiple pieces IRL..."

So, no disrespect intended. Sir.

The old me, yes, but sometimes the old me will make an appearance if something really gets to me. lol As I talked to @Narmerguy about some of the things of what I have gone through life he could understand why I may act sometimes a lil violent, but I'm the nicest/caring dude you would meet if you are on my good side.

Technically, if you have a MediCal card you have been assigned a PCP. It's just not very obvious. Definitely call the number on your card.
Source: I sit right next to Case management who does this for all of the ED patients insisting that they don't have a primary doctor when we refer them for followup.
