I'm looking for more details on the radiation therapy of a (non-RTOG) protocol listed on clinicaltrials.gov. Unless I'm missing something, the website really just seems to give some cursory information of the radiation arm and I wanted to find more details. How can one get a hold of the full protocol? Is there a central database somewhere or do you just have to contact the study coordinators? Thanks.

It depends on the group that is running the trial. In most cases, with RTOG being the exception, protocols are not publicly available. Sometimes, using google, you can find amendments online or other materials that will help you uncover the details you need to know. Otherwise you need to find a member of that group or someone who is enrolling patients on the trial.

The sure way to get protocols is to call/email research nurse in the nearest academic RadOnc Department. They usually have logins to all cooperative groups websites.
