Incoming MS1 here. I presume that it will only help to be able to have a good understanding of how to evaluate data in the medical literature, and how to determine clinical significance, etc. So for those of you who want a refresher on ANOVA, p-values, etc, in the context of medical literature, here's a free online course from Stanford that should prepare you well for your future studies in medicine. It's a self-paced 9 module course that takes you through the fundamentals. Good luck.

Always good to learn, but stats is only a fraction of understanding what separates good research from bad research, and tbh understanding research is not the point of med school anyway. So by no means should you feel you must know all the details of this stuff - med school will teach you the basics of what an MD should know.
