I am not doing well on my Topscore Bio sections (about 17-18). I have read AP Cliffs Bio twice, read Kaplan BB twice, and completed DAT Destroyer (Bio) twice. I was also a bio major and took MANY upper division bio courses in college. Any tips/advice on how to improve my bio score on the DAT please?
Thanks

Also, I wanted to know what's the best thing to do the week (or two weeks) before the DAT please? How to prepare exactly that last week? Do hardcore studying or take it easy? etc.

well what bio scores are you presently getting? It'll be easier to tell you that way.

I would recommend knowing the vocabulary in Cliffs, flash cards work great for this. Also, make sure you can explain the big picture concepts in your own words. I think too many people try to memorize all the details without really stepping back and understanding the big picture.

Best of luck

For bio, reading isn't enough. Some memorization is necessary. Quiz yourself with flashcards or write out key concepts daily to make it stick.

And don't stress too much ... TopScore is very detail-orientated. I jumped from 18's in practice to 23 on the actual test.
