I have just graduated from college and am taking gap years before applying to dental school. I have a 3.4 gpa and a 22/22/22 DAT, president of the pre-dental club, 150 hours shadowing and 140 volunteering hours. Also have done 1.5 year of research and will probably work as a research tech before applying to dental school. Can someone offer me some advice on improving my application?

Those are definitely some pretty decent stats. If I were you I would make sure my personal statement stands out. Have multiple family members or friends read it would be a good idea.

You have great stats. If you have time, find some volunteer that you are really interested in and not related to dental. Dont do it for dental school. Do it for you.

Make sure that you apply early and broadly. 12+ schools.

You got a good overall app. Just destroy the interviews and you will be set.
