I took the MCAT 5/14 and sent my first score when I received it on 6/15. I, then, retook the MCAT and improved significantly 7/17 and sent the score when I received it 8/17. Do I just assume TMDSAS and AMCAS sent my scores along to all schools, or do I need to reach out to each school and ask if the second score was received?

The AMCAS system immediately adds new scores when they are released.
However, if your application has already been screened it may not be reviewed after the update.
This is why it is safer to apply after your scores are released.

I’ll add to gyngyn’s answer, which is correct.

For TMDSAS schools to get your new score, you must instruct AAMC to release your score to TMDSAS. Do this on the same portal where you registered for the MCAT test.
You may have given this permission already - logging in again now will let you see where scores were sent.
TMDSAS will distribute your new score to schools as soon as they get it.

Both @gyngyn and @wysdoc are spot on. @wysdoc is the TMDSAS expert, so I won't go there.

But for AMCAS, the question is whether or not you indicated on your primary that you were going to take the test again on 7/17? If so, then to @gyngyn's point, you are good. Any school that wanted to wait for the score did, and those that didn't, didn't, and there is nothing more for you to do.

OTOH, if you did not tell schools on your primary that a future MCAT score would be forthcoming, you should probably start calling around to see if they want something in writing from you, either e-mail or portal update, indicating a new score. They can certainly see it, but, as @gyngyn said, if they didn't know it was coming and didn't wait for it, you might have already been reviewed without it and they might not go back to take another look if you don't give them a heads up that there is something new to look at. Good luck!!!

So, as long as I uploaded my new MCAT date before my application was transmitted to schools, then I'm good? Like I added the date when I scheduled it on 6/17, my TMDSAS app was transmitted 6/18 and my AMCAS app was transmitted 7/2.

Yes for AMCAS but be sure you released the new score to TMDSAS

I sent the second score to TMDSAS the day I received it (8/17) and my application says it was received on 8/18. So, I can assume the score was sent to schools?
I did receive my first II to a Texas school today so I'm hoping that's a good sign haha.
