How to List non-continuous Post-Secondary Experience

Hi,

Im curious what is the best way to go about listing experience on the Amcas that is non-continuous. For example, I tutored at a high school for a month b.t may and june in 2001 and also in 2002, for ~30 hrs a wk; similar situation with shadowing. What is the best way to list since saying the position was b.t 2001 and 2002 isnt quite accurate? Is this something that should be noted in the description box? Thanks!

I did what you proposed. I listed the total dates up top but then actually explained in detail the periods I did it and the time invested in the comments section.
