I am planning to volunteer as a victim advocate in an emergency room. On my app, how should I go about listing training hours, on-call hours, and hours when I am physically serving in my role as advocate?

For some reason I only saw the bold  Took me a while to realize I skipped over a word lmaooo. In my experience though, you should only really be listing hours when you are physically carrying out the role/on the clock. On call hours should count, but idk how this works for volunteers

You can only put it on the app if you have gotten an offer for the position when you submit. Personally, I would list the total hours you plan on working and break it down in the description.

So I would lump it all together then list it out in the description?

Example: 100 total hours
40 training
40 on call
20 in ED

In the header Total Hours enter the time you were physically with patients. In the description you can mention # hours of training and that you were on call, say, xx hours/ week for the position. Keep a log of all the times above so you won't have to guess-timate when the time comes for you apply to med schools.
