As English is not my first language, it is the most area that seems hard to master. I would appreciate any suggestion about how to practice the RC and what are the most efficient strategies.
Thanks 🙂

Unfortunately I have no advice on how to actually get better with english itself, other than keeping yourself immersed in every way, from talk to english speakers, watching english tv, english music, and avoiding your native language as much as possible. Perhaps though, reading english would be most beneficial, as that's all you'll do with the DAT RC, so try reading english textbooks and journal articles just to get better at reading english in general. Keep a dictionary handy.

As for normal RC advice, I apparently gave a decent strategy here (this was someone else's opinion, I don't know how good it actually is for others):

There's also a strategy by the user VicViper, who scored a 30 (perfect) on the RC section:

Again, I think you just need to A) read science/health based textbooks and journal articles, and B) find practice resources for the DAT RC and try out your own method and possibly some others, maybe the ones mentioned above.

Thanks a lot for the advice, will try my best!! I am not bad really but I need to score high. I am just overwhelmed with the raising DAT score average 🙁
Thanks again!!

The best way I think would be just reading articles. Huffington post, Time magazine, NY times, Scientific American, etc... you can get them on your phone or tablet now and just read on your lunch break. Also, there is an awewome app called dictionary.com, it gives you a word per day. Lol, this is not a plug, seriously I use it daily while waiting for a bus. Hope this helps. Good luck.

all of the methods are great. just find what works for you. in my DAT expereince (from last week), my RC sections were 20 paragraphs a piece. the paragraphs were shorter though, not as long as ACHIEVER. i would suggest using a hybrid method in which you first read the topic sentences of each paragraph and then review questions and then go back to read in depth since it will be more directed reading

Thanks All for your response , I tried the RC section in KBB and I found the questions a bit more detailed than what I expected. Skimming through the passage did not help. I will try reading 2-3 paragraphs at a time then skim over the questions... Thanks again, it helped a lot!
