How to Match with Your Partner

Just curious how other couples have dealt with this. I'm currently seeing someone who is in the military. Couples Match isn't an option for us. Does anyone have advice about how to end up near to or in the same city?

Only rank programs in one geographical location. Lowers your chances of matching, but if you both match, you'll be in the same area.
