I know pharma pretty well, but the 10 blocks of UW I've done so far seem to have a lot of extra side effects listed for a lot of drugs, and I'm not sure if its a wise idea to consolidate them all into FA. I obviously dowrite any pathophysiology / mechanisms of side effects etc, but its the short explanations for the incorrect answer choices that just randomly throw out some side effects, a lot of which are not in FA. Do I need to note down all of these? This is sort of tricky for me since my side effect lists are already pretty long (FA + kaplan merged).

UW seems to do this thing where it just mentions something (in one of the incorrect answer choices) without explaining. eg an mcq last night just stated there was some disease condition called hypo/hyperkalemic periodic paralysis. What do I do with info like this? Google and get info? I'm a little concerned since I'm going to have month to go over FA and all my UW notes after I'm done with the Qbank, and I don't want to overwhelm myself to the point where I start muddling things up.

Whats also confusing me is the fact that I'm scoring pretty well on pharma (64/67 thus far), which is based more or less on FA/kaplan + googling to clarify stuff. I'm not sure what this means. Essentially I feel I'm good at pharma when I'm solving the question, and then like I know less than 50% of what I should while reading the answer choices (esp the incorrects).

I always go crazy writing down all the details in the incorrect answer choices that expound on xyz side effects or abc treatment. It never ends up showing up. I will still likely continue to go crazy writing down all the details anyway.
