I would like to send a thank you note at an upcoming interview. How do I obtain the interviewer's email address? Feel somewhat uneasy about asking the interviewer directly. Any suggestions ?

Personally, I just emailed the admissions offices and asked that they made sure Dr. X and Dr. Y received the emails/messages I wanted them to receive. They said they'd gladly make sure my interviewers got them.

What about a hand written message? Then you can mail it or give it to reception. Alternatively, just email reception asking them to forward the message.

Or somehow manage to get the interviewer to email you something. Don't know how you'd pull this off though.

Ask for a business card "in case you have any other questions" worked when I interviewed. +1 to hand-written though, and pref w/in 24 hrs of your II

There's no shame in asking for a business card, that's standard practice.

You could also just go online and find it, most academic physicians have some kind of faculty page with their email

As a last resort you could find a pubmed paper where they were first or last author and had to list their email address as "corresponding author"

Universities should have their faculty info on their webpage, just check there.

You can contact the coordinator and either ask for email addresses or provide the thank you letters and ask to kindly send them to the interviewers.

Sometimes you can find their emails online or if you google the person and look at their research pages. Sometimes they list their email for research papers, etc. to be contacted.

Your best bet is to ask admissions to forward it to your interviewer. It is possible that your interviewer might not want to be contacted directly unless they explicitly give you their information.
