Yeah I don't think it would be bad to end on the early side, but it probably wouldn't be the greatest situation to finish everything you had to say in1 or 2 mins when you are given 5 mins allotted time. (This happened to me, and We sat there for probably 20-30'secs and I was just like this is super awkward, so I scrambled and manage to ask a question or 2 that got us talking for the rest of the time.) So just try to use follow up questions and elaborate on things/use personal stories to fill time. You want it to flow like a real conversation/interaction.Fyi those minutes tick by at a very slow rate once you enter the room.
Is it okay to shake the hand of the interviewers when you enter the room? When I did my MMI in a past cycle, I did have scenarios where I ended early. Some of the interviewers either just asked more questions about the scenario, spoke about the school, or asked me if I had any questions about the school.
WesternU uses a loud speaker and a proctor or two.I have heard that we are given some time to read/prepare prior to going into the room with the proctor or patient actor. Is there someone there who will tell us when we are supposed to go into the room or will we have to keep an eye on the clock?
