How to prepare for upcoming APPE

I am starting rotations next week, I have one ration in geriatrics ,emergency medicine and transition of care, and I would like to know how I should prepare for this:
- Resources that fit in my white coat pocket and are easy to use during rounds.
-Any other resources that help me to prepare before starting the day of rotation.
-General tips of how to deal with preceptors and medical doctor and staff..
-Any other advise is more than welcome!!

I would email the preceptor and ask them to get a good starting point. Know the guidelines
