I have an interview with Wal-Mart in the near future. What type of questions do they ask during their interview? I don't really care for the "Tell me about a time when...." questions. So hopefully, there won't be many (or any) of those.

Can someone please elaborate on their interview process?

news flash bud, most interviews today are behavioral. tell me about a time when you did this/that

counsel on this

etc

Not a "news flash bud!". I know that a lot of them are that way. Doesn't mean I have to like them. And, not all companies conduct interviews that way....bud.

They have a structured interview where they ask you about a time when you..., and where you see yourself in 5 years.. typical interview questions. They also may ask you to counsel on a prescription.

They don't give you any feedback, just silence, so you have no idea how you did. Usually when someone doesn't say anything it's because they're pissed off, so it's kind of unnerving, but you could be doing great and you'd get the same lack of feedback.

They likely don't give feedback because of lawsuits. Everything at Walmart seems to be structured because they are the most sued company on the planet.

to those who are working at walmart, know how I can get free subscription to the pharmacist letters?

Cipro is pretty common which is why they asked, and has some obvious and some less obvious, more subtle points that can be involved in counseling.

However, in chain interviews counseling is rare for the simple reason that you may know more than the interviewer
