Lol. Nothing's wrong with
@tooth knockn . He's the best teddy bear in the world. Don't get defensive. We're having a good time. And, you've gotta admit,
@tooth knockn is pretty darn funny. His last comment just made me laugh out loud in the quiet section of the library....got so many death stares from the grad students.....it's worth it.
Look, I know what you are saying and why you are saying it. You're saying that marriage, kids, financials, random luck, spontaneity, etc....all these forces in life can easily chart a new path and therefore it is not good to be tunnel-visioned.
I respect that. I agree with that. and I'm glad that you are looking out for me.
But I am not being tunnel-visioned. I mean....a guy can dream right? All I did was say that, at the present moment, I am thinking of a trajectory along the lines of military service followed by Indian Health Service. That could very well change. There's an even higher chance that it doesn't though because I have wanted to be a part of the military since I was 8 and I also really enjoy public health (based on my shadowing). There's nothing wrong with having a general direction/aim for life. It makes me feel more secure and happy.
I saw your point of view. Can you try to understand mine?
P.S.- Why would a math problem have the parts "d, e,
f, g, f, i, g"....seems to me like the math teacher doesn't know the alphabet then....in which case, we have bigger problems.
