Is the Ka any different from the Kd in terms of enzyme kinetics?
The question asks if addition of metal ions increases or decreases the amount of CPFX (ligand) bound to BSA (enzyme). Given: the K0 represents the binding constant in the absence of the metal ions.
Shouldn't the K0 > Ka, therefore meaning that the Ka has increased? The answer according to AAMC is that CPFX binding decreased when metal ions were added.
