How to request a re-interview?

Could you please give me some guidance on how to request a re-interview? The Dean at the school I interviewed at said that I could write a request... Could you please tell me how I can explain to the Adcom how it would be fair to other candidates that I get another interview?

You can't request an interview as far as I know. If you messed up then wait until next year.

I am not sure how to request for one but I do know that some schools (UConn for one) can ask you to come back for a second interview.

I guess just be sincere about your desires to go to that school and maybe discuss what you've done since your last interview that will make them reconsider you.

Didn't know this was possible. Perhaps it would be better to just focus application/interviews to other schools.

most logical explanation is OP was late or missed it competely. Other than those 2 reasons, I think you will make a fool out of yourself to ask for re-interview.

Let say I'm an adcom and I saw a request for re-interview, I will be like "WTF" and denies app right away. Even if you did have a bad interview, they still might consider you. IMO if you request for a re-interview you will get deny right way.

It's possible under narrow circumstances. Two cycles ago, a friend of friend was being interviewed for D-school. During her first interview (with a student), the interviewer mentioned something along the lines of her name sounds Korean, and it's too bad she's not Korean.

After this, she wrote a letter to the Dean claiming it was racist. He promptly apologized to her. She re-interviewed with another person at a later date and ended up being accepted.
