Do you guys think its alright to share a hotel room with a total stranger you meet from SDN? If so or not, how would you guys go about doing it safely?

I would not. I'd rather work the street corner for $100 more for my own room than sleep in the same room as someone from SDN.

SDN is full of weirdos.

just make sure you put a sign on your head that says "please dont rape me" before you go to sleep and you should be good.

Yes, it can be done safely.

It's only weird if you share a bed...then again there is always the "head to toe" option!

Some anatomical parts will still be aligned.

SDN = full of gunners. Gunners will burn your suit while you sleep.

Butts to nuts, sirs.

Srsly tho, I wouldn't worry about it much. Most people who go looking for a room to share, especially for a professional situation, are just broke, not psychopaths. Even if they end up being a bit odd, it's not like you're signing a blind lease or anything, it's one night. But I've had great luck in the past rooming with people I met on forums for cons and the like, so I may be biased by that.

haha.

The shotgun one beats this tho.

Just be sure to fall asleep last.

If you wear a nightcap to bed you definitely want to be sure you're the last person asleep and have that shotgun handy at your side.

I like my own space. If i want to go to bed and the other person sleeps with the TV on, the next day is ruined for me. If I want to shower without feeling like someone is going through my stuff, I can. Everyone is different and there is no reason to set the next day up wrong because it is so important.

+1 Agree with this. I have no interest in sharing a room to save a few bucks just to end up regretting it greatly... or dead.

LOL! having my own space is worth the $ but I think you guys are being a bit too paranoid.

You want to be safe?

Make sure you get them before they get you.
