If the faculty gave you the patient, I'm sure the person met some minimum standard to be treated in the clinics there. See all the patients you have. You really don't have an alternative since you still have a lot of requirements that need to be met. Obviously you want to weed out the unreliable patients that don't show up (and the crazy ones), but aside from that, book as many appointments as you can.

On a more serious note, just be very up front about the time commitment. I wish I would have been more up front with my first few patients.
