Okay heres the deal peeps:

I was finishing 48 questions with about 15 minutes left and getting lower scores than I liked, apparently due to just picking the first answer that looked right (knee-jerk) instead of thinking about the problem and then figuring out the answer.

So I tried a block by thinking through all answers etc. and ran out of time and missed like 8 out of the last 10 since I had no time to read question, just pick a random answer. By Thinking things through my score went up like 10% and I think if I had time to reason through the last 10 q's it would go up more!! HELP ME THINK FASTER!!!!!

Are you talking about Qbank questions? Those questions require more thinking than the real Step 1 questions so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

With the real exam though, it is a good idea to read the last sentence first if the vignette is really long because sometimes they ask a question that has almost nothing to do with the vignette.
