Hi there,
Stuff reqd are:
1.Kaplan Notes Part 1
2.Dental Decks 2004
3.Old question papers.
4.Textbooks(Wheelers) for Dental Anat though Kaplan notes are also very good.
Check the internet to buy all the stuff mentioned above..U can go to ebay.com or check on this forum itself or jus type it on google search and u will get lots of good deals.
If u want to get a good score, do an indepth studying and make sure u revise twice before u give the exam.Dont forget the dental decks!
Good luck!!

2001 decks are adequate. i didnt have the 2004 decks but used the 2001 and did fine...
well preparation time depends on the person , time u have to study , ure grasping power . how clear ure basics are .
i took 2 months of studying 8hrs a day , weekends a bit lesser and closer to the exam about 12 hrs .
i used text books as refernces to revise whatever i didnt rememeber. plus decks and old papers and also a few other MCQ books i had with me from india .
it doesnt matter how long anybody took to prepare but the bottom line is that u have to c how much u remember and study whatever u dont.
all the best studying

hi , i am also starting with the preparation and am trying to collect the review material ..i am planning to enroll in kaplan ..and get the notes is that a good idea?? or should i get the notes from some one and then do the question bank ..are notes of 2001 ,2002 equally good as 2005 ??suggest me .

...If u can afford it, take up the course..its very good. But on the other hand, i know a lot of people who have jus studied the notes without going to the classes and got high scores...so its upto u.

....As i said before, do a search on this forum and u will get the kaplan notes and dental decks or check on ebay...i have already seen a few people selling their stuff.
I would say u need abt 5-6 months to prepare well but then it depends on each individual and of course the application deadlines...if u have time on ur hands..dont strain urself too much..study abt 6-8 hrs a day and take the weekend off to unwind...dont forget to revise after finishing each subject....it will be extremely volatile initially 🙁 but then when u start ur final revisions,u will be more confident. 🙂
Hope this was helpful to u...good luck and be cool! 👍
