It feels like every time when I finished class and go home, I make myself dinner and watch TV to relax myself for the rest of the evening. I'm just tired to study everyday after class. How do you manage to focus on studying after class? Somedays I have class 8:30am-12:30pm and others 8:30am-4:30pm.

Don't go to class

even if you have required lectures, what I would probably do (as I have done for some mandatory sessions in the past) was to go over the lectures, make flashcards on Anki over them a day before, then go to lecture and if they mention anything specifically in lecture not in the ppt then add that to my notes etc. This way, you probably give yourself 1.5 passes if you are truly engaged in lecture.

If not required, don't go to lecture and just make flashcards based on ppt.

Make it a habit to start waking up early. Get 2-3 hours of studying in before class.

The fact that there is so much to learn in such little time... how board exams are killer....or the fear of failing out.... all that motivated me
