Hi Everyone

I am doing my masters in Information technology and I decided to go to medical school. I am planning to go to a post bac program because I have already taken most of my pre med classes as an undergrad and I didn't do too well in them. I am just wondering if anyone could give me any advice on what is the best way to study for a post bac program. I really want to make all A's and I am not scared of working hard I just want to know the way to study. Because I don't seem to get it. Also how good is VCU's post bac program. Please let me know.

Thank you

i'm in the same boat. i'm take some post-bacc classes a la carte at my local SUNY school and i've been acing all of them. my advice? i sit front and center in each class. I tape the lectures then transcribe them that that night or the next day. i'm able to do this because i'm only taking two classes. i'm not afraid of asking questions, ask until you understand. don't miss any details (and don't skip class!!)! ask ask ask!! go to office hours, email the prof, go to TA review sessions. showing the profs that you are excited and interested makes them want to help you more. devout your life to making sure you understand all the material covered in lecture. make sure you know when the exams are and start studying at least two weeks in advance.
hope this helps!!
good luck!
