So I have been trying to study for the OAT's this summer and I plan on taking it about late August or early September if I feel ready. The materials I have so far are the OAT destroyer and Physics destroyer as well. I also signed up for the Kaplan course and the class was going ok until they switched instructors on us and I stopped going so I'm only using the online materials now which are decent. I also have a physics cliffsquickreview book and ordered a Cliffsreview AP Biology online for pretty cheap and am waiting for that to come in (I also have the Kaplan review notes book and lesson book that go with the course)...

However, I am not good at physics at all and was wondering what the best way is to study for that portion??

Also, any advice on the rest of the sections and how to study for those would be really appreciated too!

P.S. I plan on getting the OAT achiever and possibly topscore as well to practice. I know, I'm spending a lot of money on this thing 🙁

practicex3. Physics is all about practice and understanding the concept. Go through the parts you are having trouble with step by step (maybe in a textbook?) and do sample problems. If you have the solution key that would help.

Try to see what your missing...do you have problems interpreting the problem? are you making the same mistakes over? is there a key to specific types of problems you need to remmeber? drawing diagrams always helps in some small way. Listing out formulas...finding what is unknown in an equation, and using manipulated equations can often lead to the correct solution. Also check for units, they will always tell you if your on the right track or not.

Wow great way to self-analyze study habits...I think will help to be more efficient. Im also getting ready to take the OAT soon and want to study SMART not hard-thanks EyEnStein
