Presumably, you are fluent in either French or Dutch?

International Medicine Forums are here: https://forums.studentdoctor.net/categories/international-medical-forums.75/

If you enter the Europe subforum and do a Search with the search term "Belgium" you will find related information. You might repost your questions there, or PM an active poster who seems knowledgeable, if you don't find answers to all your concerns.

Actually I believe Dutch, French and German are all official languages with English being a wide spread second language. In most, if not all, European countries, the study of medicine is connected directly to an undergraduate program, therefore, having a degree already would not be a shortcut. There are several English programs across Europe designed for Americans, but, of course, studying overseas reducing your chances of practicing medicine in the US by at least 50% and getting into a residency program that is both the specialty you may want and the geographic location you desire has very long odds. If you want to practice in the US, study in the US
If I study PhD in US with international md does make it easier to grant a residency program

Generally speaking the longer the time from clinical training , the harder it is to match.
