I am finishing up the kaplan course this semester and I must say I didnt really like it too much. At the beginning I kept up with the reading and the assignments (for about 1/3 of the class). But then it just got away from me. I hated reading the kaplan books but I do like how many online resources they have.
Basically, I feel like I have not prepared at all this semester even with kaplan. So I decided to order the BR physics, gen chem, and orgo books. I like them alot but I must say they are long. I plan on taking the mcat in august so i have a solid 3 months of studying.
For the last few days I have been following the mcat study schedule that everyone looks at on this site using the BR books as recommended. I definitely think it is a good way of studying.
ANyway, should I just ditch the kaplan stuff and use the BR books and passages? Should I be reading everythingg in the BR books? I feel like reading everything seems like focusing more on content review.
I also have an EK complete set that someone gave me.
Any insight on this? I am going strong one way or another (5+ hours a day), but i just want to make sure I am using my time the best way I can.
