how to study

Could somebody tell me the best way to study as a resident/intern
Since we are now interns which is different from being a medical student I was just wondering the best way to study ,what to study and how not waste time on studying the unnecessary things+ i want to make good use of the limited time that we have (between balancing life and studies and fun and etc)
