Lol, sorry for the lulz title.
But yes, how does a non-Texas, with limited connections to Texas make it into TCOM. Any advice? Or is it just a completely ill advised endeavor.

1) Make sure you have above TCOM's average applicant stats
2) Apply through TMDSAS (pain in the ass)
3) Pray to your God
4) ????????????????????
5) TCOM
It's only ill advised if you suck.
Edit: Forgot this other, simpler route:
1) Move to Texas
2) Work for 1 year before applying
3) See above Steps 2-5

Our class has a few out of state students. I think they all had above average stats. I'm sure it comes down to luck since there are so few spots for out of state applicants. Its best to move to texas and become a resident. That way you can apply to all the texas schools and really improve your chances of admission.
fair warning... im gonna quote full metal jacket. Its going to have a lot of curses in it.
Holy dog s**t. Texas? Only steers and queers come from Texas, Private Cowboy. And you don't look much like a steer to me so that kinda narrows it down. Do you suck d**ks?
