Dear All

I have just received an interview from UCSF, which is the day right after UOP interview date. Does any of you happen to know if I'm flying to Sacramento from Southern California, how I can get from Stockton to San Francisco?

Happy Holiday and Best Luck for everyone still waiting for the letters and preparing for the interview!!!

Congratulations on the getting the interview invitations. If your interview at SF is the day after UOP's, perhaps renting a car is the best option. Here is the driving directions I got from Yahoo!:

You can try hitchhiking on I-5. It is very convenient!

I second this. It's too far for any public transport, and it's silly to head all the way back to Sacremento to take a commuter flight. Just drive it, it'll give you a great sense of the area.

I used to drive from Stockton to Berkeley all the time since I went to UOP as an undergrad. It's about an 1.5 hour drive, so to SF (during light traffic) would probably take around 2 - 2.5 hrs (more likely the latter). So give yourself plenty of time. It's really not a complicated drive until you get into San Francisco, which if you're unfamiliar with it, may get a little hairy.

Man I wish I heard something from UCSF!!! I'm still waiting...I don't mind going to UOP but I really want to go to UCSF since I live in the city and its soo much cheaper, but one school is better than no one accepting me....
