How to turn down NYU acceptance

How does one turn down an acceptance to NYU? Their sheet you mail back to them only has a form for if you accept. Do you just e-mail them?

Yea... I have no idea. I still have finals, so I keep forgetting to call them.

Well my concern is that i don't want to be remembered as rude or just never get back to the school. You never know where you will end up teaching or doing a residency/AEGD.

lol like they are going to remember what you say after 4-5 years 😀. You are smart enough to get in a few dental schools, you cant come up with a few sentences to withdraw your app?

I sent them an email. I made sure to be cordial in my response and thank them for their time. They responded and asked where I planned on attending. So i think emailing is just fine. I called some schools as well but I think either mode it fine.
