How tough is it to work in the UK?

Hey Guys,

I've heard how tough it is to get a job in the UK with an Australian MBBS degree. Is it true it's virtually impossible? Are there places which are less popular?

I've met loads of Australian doctors although quite a few are locums so it is possible. It all depends with what you want to do once you get to the UK - a couple of years locuming and seeing the country or specialist training or something inbetween.
