The OP asked about P4 year, and those links only talk about a typical day as a P1-P3. Nothing about P4. Anyway, I can't help ya since I'm not there yet. But a few of my friends that went to LECOM did their rotations where they wanted (different state).

At our school most students stay in state for rotation but they do move around from city to city. (rotations are typically 4-6 weeks long) The school tries to keep your rotations centrally located around one spot so you can find appropriate housing. There are some rotations offered in other states/countries and housing is usually available as part of the rotation. This is all pretty school specific though, so this might not apply to your school.

Very much depends on the school. I know of some schools who do not allow any rotations out of state, I know some schools that encourage students to explore different opportunities and set up their own rotations. Many schools allow out of state rotations, but limit the number, such as one or two. Consequently, moving depends on the above policy and the size of the state. Most schools allow you to pick the places you want to go to, so it is up to you whether you want to go out of town or not.
