How was the timing clock on your real MCAT?

Did it count up or down? I remember being surprised on my real one because it was the opposite of what I was practicing with. I thought AAMC tests counted up but the real one ended up counting down so it threw me off. However, I'm about to take an AAMC test right now and it is counting down. Sooo...did it actually count up on the real one? Or is my mind just playing tricks on me? I seriously remember being surprised by the clock, but I don't know why...
