Hi, just thought I'd start a series of threads where people can list how each school notify their applicants of how secondaries, interviews, rejections, or acceptances are communicated. Is it by mail, phone, e-mail, or a combination of? This thread is for rejections.

I was never rejected by e-mail. Its mostly by snail mail.

Over the remnants of a candlelit dinner with a half-empty bottle of wine, the Bee Gees playing "Staying Alive" and I was bussing tables and mopping the floors at the dark end of a 9 hour shift. My mail was delivered to the restaurant. The letter had sat on the manager's desk for two days. I wiped off the grease and spaghetti sauce, noted how thin the envelope was. It turned out that they had many well qualified applicants last year. I wasn't one of them.

most rejections are done through snail mail (usually with alot of waiting, although some schools have a fast turnaround time)

One school hated me so bad that they sent me two rejection letters in the mail (got both at the same time).

Most of the schools do it by mail, however one school I interviewed at and another I was waitlisted at never did tell me that I wouldnt be attending their school this fall.
