How & When To Transfer In Dental School?

HI, I WILL BE GOING TO HOWARD. I AM THINKING ABOUT TRANSFERING IF I CAN. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN PEOPLE CAN TRANSFER OR/AND DO I HAVE TO FILL ADEA APPLICATION AGAIN? WHAT SHOULD I DO HERE TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE? BESIDES GETTING A GOOD GRADES, WHAT ELSE DO YOU THINK I HAVE TO DO? ANY INFORMATIONS WILL BE VERY APPRECIATED. THANKS👍

First of all... please refrain from posting in all caps as it makes it harder for other members to read your post.

As far as transferring, it's done on a case by case basis. You would have to contact the dean of admissions of the school you are wishing to transfer to and discuss your situation with them. They would best be able to tell you what requirements are needed in order to transfer. It's not too common for transfers to be allowed but it does happen on rare occasions.
 
i believe u must have a very good reason to transfer.
 
Tons of dental students would love to transfer (ie - didn't get into their #1, want in state tuition, be closer to family, ect) But the reality is that transfering is very rare. The above examples are probably not the extreme situation that would warrant a transfer. You have to contact the individual schools, and it's the exception not the norm.
