In the Work/ Activities section, do Adcoms see what we wrote in the same way that the "Summary" view displays it? Or do they see it with the formating as we had entered into the text boxes?

In the "Summary" view, it seems to ignore all the paragraph breaks. Should we format our responses for optimal formating in the "Summary" view?

I'm not sure 100%, but I think they see the same thing you see when you hit the PRINT APPLICATION button on the main screen. There, it neatly summarizes and tabulates all the information you put in and is much easier to digest. Can someone confirm/deny that worked on an adcom?

Some applicants I know in real life have shared with me their AMCAS applications as they have printed them. Yes, those look like what I see on my laptop when I access applications electronically through a password protected site set up by my med school.

P.S.: I am not available to review SDN members AMCAS applications. Please don't ask.

Rats! 😛

Last year I was able to get paragraph breaks... Are you using one of AMCAS's approved web browsers?

Are you looking at it in the HTML preview or the PDF? I remember reading somewhere that the PDF form is the accurate one.

EDIT: The PDF preview will also preserve any paragraph breaks/formatting you enter. So give that a try.
