Hey guys, sorry for dragging my lowly predental self into this forum but this has got me worried. I'm not sure if I want to specialize yet, but my top two school choices are pass/fail schools. If the boards go pass/fail then I will have nothing to provide to show my performance compared to others. Should I alter my school choices based on this? or take the gamble with pass/fail schools in hopes that residency programs come up with a new way of gauging performance?
Also, have any of you heard anything from different programs regarding their plans for weighing applicants against eachother after this change takes effect?
Once again, sorry for bothering you guys. Theres no one in the predental forums thats actually qualified to give advice on this and I already did a search and results only address the date it takes effect and not possible future plans to conform to the new policy. thanks in advance to anyone who takes time to respond.
