so I got my final grades today and they were pretty disappointing. B's in organic, math, and bio. The only A I got was in my easy stats class. Semester gpa is 3.2 and cumulative dropped to 3.6.

I'm not quite sure where this puts me for med school admissions. Of course I'm upset with myself and know I need to do much better, but could a semester like this possible keep me out? I have a relatively easy schedule next semester other than organic 2. Assuming I kick ass next semester should I just put this behind me, or could these grades actually come back to bite me when i apply?

i wont be too worried but you def should be aiming for a higher semester gpa! if your not apply this coming up cycle i would stress but if you are apply this coming up cycle you def need to pull it together next semester and make all A's. Good Luck!

It is not necessary for u to worry about too much. Anyway, hope everything goes better.

Don't let it eat you up inside. Some semesters are better than others. And ADCOMS don't just want students with perfect stats, or there would be no need for secondaries and interviews.

And no, a semester like that will not keep you out. Do better next semester and get some experience in.

My concern for you would be the last thing you said about how next semester should be easier. Be careful with that. Taking an easy semester should give you ample time to pursue other activities, not just making As.

It's not the end of the world, medical school is still very much viable.

I swear all these questions could be answered if people just lurked the what are my chances board
