I've noticed that schools like to ask students what they would bring to the dental profession. I don't quiet know what that means and how to answer it. any suggestions or clarifications?

Just tell them why you would be a better dentist than someone else who is also applying. Do you have a significant amount of experience in the dental field? Maybe you've participated in activities that show your passion for dentistry. Tell them something that is unique about you.

Your time to shine. Mention anything you can think of that sets you aside as dc mentioned. This may be a leadership position or your research on a bio/dental/medical/chemical topic... it could be community involvement. Among some other things (I'm sure), they seem to want to see 4 things in my opinion.

1. That you are intelligent
2. That you are a critical thinker
3. That you can relate to people well and
4. That you are confident enough to work well and properly on your own without needing someone to guide you through every step of the way.

Good luck.

Thank you guys, that helped alot
