I am currently volunteering in this program created by my university in which I work at a dental clinic for those who cannot afford dental care for 40 hours a week for 8 weeks. As part of the program I have to read a couple books and several articles and write about 30 pages total in papers, and I will receive three credits in Theology for doing this. I am currently in week 2 of the program.
I cannot decide if I should classify this as Extracurricular/Volunteer/Community Service because I am doing service work for the clinic (working the front desk, calling patients, filing, etc) and I am not getting paid, or should I classify it as an Academic Enrichment program because I am doing readings and writing papers and receiving 3 credits for it? Or should I just put it down in both categories? Please let me know what you think! Thanks!
