How you felt after MCAT RETAKE

I just took the Dec 6 MCAT and I'm not sure how I feel about it. My first MCAT was on July 25, 2014 9PS/8VR/10BS for a stellar 27 composite. I was averaging 31-32 on the AAMC Practice tests so this was a disappointment.

On the December 6th test I felt pretty terrible about the PS section, fine about VR and good about Bio. Basically PS felt worse than my first mcat but the other two sections felt better. I was averaging 10-13 (mostly 11) on PS sections leading up to this mcat (however the 13 was inflated because I had taken this test many months before)

My question is: Did anyone here feel the same or worse about their retake mcat and end up doing better than their first test? Any inspiring stories would help!
My sister posted 26 in July 2013, just took the Nov 7 exam, and rocked it at a 34. Did all the AAMC FL the week before the test after a 3 month intensive content review with the Princeton Review stuff. She actually cried after the Nov 7 exam even though her average AAMC FL was 33 over 7 different FL tests. Remember 90% of folks score +/- 2 points from their average AAMC FL. Trust your averages and good luck. Very few folks feel good after leaving the testing center.

Remember, You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. (a Pooh Bear quote that we recite to my sister all the time).

I thought I aced the PS and was hoping for a 14, but got a 12. Ended up in my range after retake and did 4pts higher.

Felt much better because I ran out of time on VR the first time. I almost blew BS on the retake but was prepared well enough to make up time after directing 15 mins on one passage.

Long story short, my head game was better. It makes all the difference.
