would I, as a practicing orthodontist, start an ortho program? Is this something any of you have thought about? The income potential is in the millions.

The income potential for a practicing orthodontist is in the millions. I think you'd be better off opening attempting to expand your practice into multiple locations with multiple offices.

Right, but I'm interested in this, as well. I saw a post on this board about a guy wanting to start one out of his garage and make millions. Is that level of income possible?
You my friend are not interested in ortho. You are interested in making money. It's your thought process that single handledly opened more programs across the country and has shot down orthodontists salaries. You are 10 years late to the party.
You are an idiot
lol opening an ortho program in a garage...
True. This guy is not even an orthodontist, sounds like a pre-dent who has his eyes on the green cash. Here's from his earlier post:

Is it possible to make 400K after taxes? How long would it take to build up that sort of practice?
Thanks! all the best!
i have to agree that the OP sounds boarder-line troll-ish. though, if you have actual info on starting a residency program, carry on. otherwise, please do not feed trolls and let the thread fade on its own.
