Hi. Still contemplating on Step 3 before residency...Can u help me abot some details on the fsmb webpage? I found it really more difficult than ecfmg.
1. What papers need to be notarized if you already have the ECFMG certificate? If you have the ecfmg certificate, do you still need to subit your diploma, transcript, etc?
2. What happens if you dont sign up before Sept 4? Are they closing for the rest of the year, or do they just automatically send your papers for 2008 cycle?

I've just called fsmb. They say that you can apply at the end of september with the 2008 aplicattion. This is what I understood.
If you have doubts you can call them and check this information.
Yes, this process is more difficult than for step 1 and 2.
 
This the reply to my email from FSMB:

The 2008 application will be available in mid september. The 2008 application will allow you tu sit for step 3 examination beginning on November 1, 2007.

The certification of identification form is the only document required when applying for Connecticut.
